What should I expect to happen during the treatment?
First, a protective gel is applied to the face. Patients say they feel a deep warming sensation when the Pelleve hand piece touches the skin. Every time this Pelleve hand piece is used, a warming sensation will be felt. No anesthetic is used, so you will act as a guide to describe the depth of the sensation as the aesthetician moves the hand piece across your face. Once heated to a certain temperature, the collagen in the deepest skin layer contracts, forcing new collagen to be formed after the treatment.
